Rainbow Families Long Beach

About Us

Rainbow Families Long Beach is an organization of LGBTQ+ families (both students and caregivers) fighting for LGBTQ+ rights in LBUSD. Our mission is to:

Build coalitions with other marginalized communities and advocate for anti-racist policies.
Organize LGBTQ+ families to increase visibility of LGBTQ+ experiences within LBUSD.
Expand LBUSD’s accountability and transparency to the LGBTQ+ community.
