Served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps; then started a company (Intelli-Flex Inc.) from the garage with a credit card and 2 other partners in the field of telecommunications with a specialization on contact center applications.  In 2020 after 20 years, sold my shares to a Canadian company.  Currently serving as President of the Orange County/Long Beach chapter of the Great Outdoors.  Great Outdoors (GO) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization predominately serving the LGBTQ+ community interested in hiking, camping, backpacking and other outdoor activities.

Justine Nevarez is the Community Outreach & Events Manager at the DLBA. After moving to Long Beach for college (Go Beach!), she fell in love with the LBC and planted roots here. Nevarez has worked in a variety of industries, but her time as Manager and Event Coordinator at L’Opera Ristorante for nearly 10 years was most influential. Because of her long history in DTLB, she has developed relationships with all types of businesses (local and from afar, thanks to the LB Convention Center) and feels most at home on Pine Avenue. Currently, you will find Nevarez riding bikes around town, traveling, enjoying all the amazing restaurants and live music Long Beach has to offer, and spinning records at home with her kittens, Jolie and Ani.

Anne has worked as a nonprofit professional for twelve years, and is a do-gooder at heart with a passion
for connecting good people to good causes. 

Anne worked for a community foundation for five years before taking on the role of Executive Director at Gay For Good, a nonprofit that mobilizes LGBTQ+ and ally volunteers in the broader community. Under Anne's leadership the nonprofit has grown from ten to twenty-one chapters and tripled it's reach, growing the mailing list to over 20k stakeholders.

Anne holds a BA in Communication Studies from California State University Long Beach and currently
sits on the Advisory Board for the Long Beach LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. Anne has two grown
children and resides in Long Beach, CA, with her wife Kelli and their two cats.

Mark Morales has over 20 years of business banking experience and specializes in SBA financing and Supplier Diversity for diverse and veteran owned businesses. I'm a feminist business coach, speaker, licensed therapist and the owner of Prospect Therapy, a queer and trans affirming therapy team practice with a focus on immigrant and diaspora mental health. In my limited free time, I geek out about the history of art and music, dissecting the production history of my favorite TV shows, and entrepreneurship for real people. I also host a podcast called You Did That! which invites people to share their stories of how they did their thing without a blueprint or role model to follow. After 28 years as a flight attendant for one of the major airlines, I transitioned into becoming a Photo Booth owner, and I enjoy working with people to enhance their event, whatever that may be, by providing a digital drop off Photo Booth rental where the user can text, email, or airdrop their photos to their guests.  Other Photo Booth services are available by discussion.
